* This May - June, 2006, KHC attendee J. Neil Schulman is directing his first feature film -- Lady Magdalenes -- from his own screenplay, in Nevada.

* On March 1, 2006, the libertarian movement and the Libertarian Party lost a true champion.

Harry Browne, bestselling author, presidential candidate on the Libertarian Party ticket for 1996 and 2000, and inspirational leader for freedom, died, aged 72, at his home in Tennessee.  Our condolences to his widow Pamela and daughter Autumn.

* October 2005, Thomas M. Sipos will teach a course on Halloween haunted houses, followed by a tour of one, for The Learning Annex.

* At the Fountain Theater, following their performance of What I Heard About Iraq, Thomas M. Sipos will present the libertarian antiwar view.  September 23, and October 1 and 8.



* Thomas M. Sipos's screenplay Halloween Candy has made it into the second round of the Monterey Screenplay Competition.


* Though not a KHC attendee, Donald Meinshausen is a longtime libertarian activist.  He burned a draft card at the infamous 1969 YAF convention.  And he is soon to go to jail on a drug charge.  He needs your help!


* Thomas M. Sipos's Hollywood Investigator is hosting a horror film festival at the 2005 World Horror Con.

* Ben Pleasants will be promoting Visceral Bukowski at a  Borders Hollywood book reading.  7 pm.  March 26, 2005.

On April 1, he'll be at Arundel Books, 8380 Beverly Boulevard, in Hollywood.



* Thomas M. Sipos reports on the fate of his platform plank at the California Libertarian Party convention.  February 24, 2005.


* Thomas M. Sipos has been elected to the California Libertarian Party's platform committee for the upcoming CLP convention.  His idea for a plank to reign in regulators has been published by the Sierra Times.  On January 26, 2005, he recorded a radio interview with John Sipos (no relation) of "hOUR Tampa Bay," discussing his idea.

* Longtime KHC attendee J. Neil Schulman addressed the California Libertarian Party Region 62's dinner club on January 18, 2005, claiming that the prosecution failed to legally prove Scott Peterson's guilt beyond a reasonable doubt, a topic he's previously addressed in the Hollywood Investigator.

* Longtime KHC attendee Pamela Maltzman writes about how protectionism may imperil her job, in the Hollywood Investigator.  January 18, 2005.

* Longtime KHC attendee Ben Pleasants hosted a book party at his Westwood home to celebrate the publication of his new book, Visceral Bukowski.  December 4, 2004.

His book has been reviewed in many outlets, including the Los Angeles Times and Hollywood Investigator.


* KHC co-founders Brad Linaweaver and J. Kent Hastings hosted a book party at Loscon 31 to celebrate the publication of their book, Anarquia.  November 27, 2004.


* J. Neil Schulman's KHC discussion of his "Vulcan mind-meld with God" was reported in the Weekly Universe.  October 7, 2003.

* KHC attendees discussed their varied responses to 9/11.  The event was profiled in the Hollywood Investigator.  March 20, 2002.
