Nancy
Shiffrin on "Anais Nin: Individualist, Thinker, Creativity Advocate, Hot
Babe."
Many people know of Anais
Nin as a friend of Henry
Miller. Nancy Shiffrin knew Nin as a teacher in the last year of her
life.
Nin was an important literary
theorist,
a diarist who recorded a fascinating slice of history, an essayist who thought deeply
about about women's liberty and individuality, and a creativity advocate
who nurtured artists.
