     Gary Chartier on "The Conscience of an Anarchist."

 

In Conscience of an Anarchist, Dr. Gary Chartier argues that anarchy happens when people organize their lives peacefully and voluntarily, without the state's aggressive violence. He explains why the State is illegitimate, unnecessary, and dangerous, and how we can achieve real freedom.

    

     About Gary Chartier


Dr. Chartier is Associate Dean of the School of Business, and Associate Professor of Law and Business Ethics at La Sierra University. He is the author of The Analogy of Love and Economic Justice and Natural Law, and has written some 30 articles in scholarly journals.

He is a graduate of UCLA (JD, 2001) and the University of Cambridge (Ph.D., 1991), a member of the advisory board of the Center for a Stateless Society, and chairs the Riverside County Libertarian Party.
